Grilled Chicken Sanpete

I'm currently out of the country traveling in Turkey and Kenya, so replies to comments may be delayed until I return home. If you'd like to see my pictures from the trip, you can do that by following me on Instagram or Twitter.

(On August 23, 2006 I updated the recipe for Grilled Chicken Sanpete Kabobs with a photo.  (At that time it wasn't possible to move the post forward without breaking the link.)  I am removing this post to prevent it from showing up twice in search engines.  Please use the link above to find the updated recipe.

  1. Hi Kalyn,

    Wonderful recipes!

I have made chicken like your Sanpete Chicken in a very similar way, but I used beer instead of soda--comes out good that way, too.

    Have fun.

  2. I'm sure the beer would be good for taste, but beer is VERY high in carbs,(the South Beach talks about that and mentions how you get a lot of fat around your middle when you eat too many carbs and it is called a "beer belly".) so if you're watching carbs, stick with the diet soda.
Jesse, I hope you're having a good summer.
