Just about every day when I get home from work I spend a little time reading blogs and checking what's happening with my blog. One thing I check is the Technorati link at the bottom of my sidebar (right hand side) that says "Blogs that link here." If someone has linked to me, I want to know so I can link back to them in return.
Anyway, today when I checked my blog I found a new blog named Blogging About Blogging had mentioned me in a little post titled "Recipe Blogs." No big deal, but nice to be mentioned. He (I think it's a he) wrote that he likes to read recipe blogs because of the mouth-watering photos that accompany the recipes. Then he mentioned (here is the part that shook my world) three blogs that he likes. Those three blogs were Simply Recipes, Delicious, Delicious, and Kalyn's Kitchen.
Oh my gosh. (Swearing is frowned upon here in Utah or I might be tempted to say something a little stronger.) I cannot even begin to tell you how honored I am to be mentioned in the same sentence as Elise of Simply Recipes or Caryn of Delicious, Delicious. These women are writing two of the finest food blogs around, in my humble opinion. While I am working hard to post credible recipes with passable photos, Elise and Caryn are turning out culinary and photographic masterpieces on a regular basis.

Kalyn, Kalyn - thanks for the kudos, but really, I'm just a home cook (more accurately cook-in-training) with a digital camera. By the way, it's great to see how beautifully your blog has progressed, congrats!
