Meme-ing Again! Confessions in Groups of Five

Time for a meme! It's been a while since I've been tagged for a meme, but now the lovely Nerissa from Deetsa's Dining Room has tagged me for this meme, which she's calling Confessions in Groups of Five. I love Nerissa's addition of the word "Confessions" to the title, enticing us to tell something a little more risque. (OK, I'm racking my brain to see if I can think of anything risque, but not too risque, that I haven't already revealed.)

I do confess I'm glad that I have this ready to post for today because tonight I'm having a big family party for Father's Day and I'm super busy today, probably too busy to want to think about doing much photographing of food or writing out recipes! Somewhere between 30 and 40 relatives will be coming to my house in Salt Lake to grill hamburgers, eat yummy food, and enjoy visiting with each other. If you're thinking, 30 or 40 people, remember that I have 9 brothers and sisters! The amazing part is that less than half of our extended family will be there tonight. If I do make any food that seems blogworthy, I'll be sure to report on it later. Now, back to those confessions for Nerissa . . .

5 items in the freezer
  1. frozen fresh basil and pesto
  2. several kinds of breakfast casserole
  3. low carb pizza
  4. Pre-cooked bacon from Costco
  5. chicken stock

5 items in my closet (here come the confessions)
  1. lots and lots and lots of jeans
  2. lots and lots and lots of shoes
  3. about 10 salmon colored shirts that are almost exactly the same (So say my friends. I say there are subtle, but important differences between those shirts.)
  4. a few pre-diet jackets and coats that are WAAAAAY too big for me, but which I can't quite bring myself to give away
  5. 4 sets of different sized weights which I should use a lot more often

5 items in my car (more confessions)
  1. dental floss
  2. trash can in the back to throw cups from Diet Coke stops
  3. fast food wrappers (not too often, but I'm human)
  4. hand lotion (can't remember to put it on at home)
  5. little packets of salt from fast food places

5 items in my purse

  1. cell phone which I never use, except to make emergency calls
  2. American Express card (never leave home without it)
  3. Kalyn's Kitchen business cards
  4. notebook with ongoing list of things I want to buy
  5. lipstick, which I hardly ever put on except first thing in the morning if I'm going out somewhere
Just to make it interesting and really get this meme traveling around the world, I decided I would tag 5 people who don't live in the U.S. Here they are:
  1. (Stockholm, Sweden) Orchidea from Viaggi and Sapori
  2. (Melbourne, Australia) Haalo from Cook (almost) Anything At Least Once
  3. (Tuscany, Italy) Ilva from Lucullian Delights
  4. (Ontario, Canada) Meena from Hooked on Heat
  5. (Basel, Switzerland) Pamela from Posie's Place

Thanks for tagging me Kalyn! It's nice with a meme now and then if it is not too often! How did you make your 'business card'? It's great, I want one too!!

Ilva, the business cards are from a place called Vista Print (www.VistaPrint.com) and Rand designed them for me and gave them to me for a present. I'll ask him more about the details and let you know.

I love the dental floss in the car, that is a fabulous idea. I keep some of that liquid hand cleaner in my car too.
