Just a reminder that voting is open in the 2006 Food Blog Awards hosted by The Well Fed Network. I was delighted to find Kalyn's Kitchen as a finalist for Best Food Blog - Theme. If you enjoy this blog I'd certainly appreciate it if you'd click over to the Theme category and vote for me. And Much Thanks to the lovely readers who already e-mailed to say they had voted!Now, having concluded that obligatory ask-people-to-vote-for-you groveling, I can happily say I'm honored to be nominated with the four other blogs in my category. All of them are first-rate. If you don't want to vote for me, go ahead and vote for any one of them, maybe even the guy who helped me fix my stove! (Thanks again Biggles.)
If you have time to check out a lot of great blogs, go to Well Fed and vote in all the categories! You'll probably find some great blogs that are new to you. Not all your favorite blogs will be finalists; I know mine weren't. But that's inevitable when you have to narrow down a huge number of outstanding blogs to only five in each category. I'm sure the judges spent countless hours working on this difficult task, and they all deserve much thanks!
