On Sunday a major portion of the U.S. population went a little bit crazy with Superbowl mania. I admit that I don't care at all about football or the superbowl. However, I did have fun at a Superbowl party at my brother Mark's new house. Here's a little superbowl party food porn that I may or may not have eaten. If you're following the South Beach Diet, remember Friday Food Porn is just for fun. Do not try to duplicate this food at home! (There's only one food item here that's completely South Beach Diet approved, and that happens to be what I took to the party. Leave a comment if you think you know what it is.)

It looks like you were at a wonderful party - and is't Sunday a day of diet rest?
These all look yummy, and really not bad for party food. No greasy wings or trans-fat-filled crusts. (And, cue Homer Simpson's voice: hmmmm... Meatballs.) But I'm guessing you brought the marinated olive-mushrooms-peppers. And the shrimp would be SB, without the sauce?
You should do followup to this on Monday morning and say which was the most popular dishes
(from Kevin at TasteTV.com)
Katie, this was only about 25% of the food; it was quite a party. Remember, I have a very big family! And most of them are good cooks.
Renee, you're pretty good. Yes, I brought the marinated mushrooms-olives-pepperoncini. The shrimp would also be great without the sauce (or you could make your own cocktail sauce with low carb ketchup.)
Taste TV, there was so much food I'd be hard pressed to say what was the most popular.
Looks like a good time was had by all. Good food eaten by all.
Paz
What a spread! What a great time to celebrate a new house filled with good food and friends!
