Kalyn's Kitchen Picks is where I tell you about food products I fall in love with, and this particular Feta cheese is a food item I've been seeing exclusively for a long time. I love Feta cheese in general, but this French sheeps milk Feta is my hands-down favorite. Of course, I buy it at my beloved Costco, where this large block sells for $4.99 USD in Utah. (Can you see why I adore Costco.)
If you're not familiar with Feta, Wikipedia has a good description of this type of Greek cheese. Of course, it's an essential ingredient in Greek Salad, one of my all-time favorite dishes. Admittedly, I might not be able to use up such a huge block of Feta if I didn't have the FoodSaver, which vaccuum packs the cheese so it will stay good in the fridge for months and months. Of course, at my house it will never last that long.
One of the latest things I've loved lately with Feta is this Green Bean Salad with Hearts of Palm, Olives, Red Pepper, and Feta. I'm also a long time fan of American Greek Salad, which is simply Greek Salad with lettuce. Truly, there's no end to the good tasting things you can make with Feta.
