Kalyn, Sounds like a great combination!
Blue cheese and asparagus yum! Unfortunately, I would have to make it just for me, Graham hates blue cheese. I just don't understand it!
Wow, that sounds almost too flavorful for me. Fabulous.
This combination of ingredients has never occurred to me, Kalyn, but it sounds fantastic.
Looks delicious! Thanks for sharing!
Wow, Kalyn,Like Christine, I would never have thought of this combination, but these are three of my most beloved ingredients.
I know this has to be perfect with the blue cheese and asparagus there could be no doubt. And the pine nuts add the perfect texture mix.
Yum - Toasted pine nuts! That would add a nice touch.I have made garlic chips for the asparagus...never stopped at just the oil.Bon Weekend!
Sounds delicious indeed (and yes, the old photo is just fine:) I knew that pinenuts & asparagus go well together, and I was thinking of combining blue cheese with asparagus. Now you've shown me green light:)
Yikes, I'm getting seriously behind on answering comments these days. Too much gardening and not enough blogging! I'm so glad you guys like the sound of this. I promise, it's just delicious. Of course, how can you miss with pine nuts and gorgonzola, two of my absolute favorites?
I always love the flavor combinations you make, Kalyn - I am looking forward to trying this!
Pat, thanks. It was really good. I need to make it again soon myself.
I'd never have thought of pairing blue cheese and asparagus either but it sounds really good (especially with the crunchy pine nuts!)
