If you'd like to browse for recipes in this category by photo, you can do that on my Pinterest board for Kalyn's Kitchen Rice, Grains, Beans, Legumes.

Hi kayln,
you've got a bad link! I clicked on 'White Bean, Tuna and parsley salad' and was connected to sausage and collard greens crock-pot recipe!

Kalyn said...

Anonymous, not sure what happened there. The link is working okay for me.

UnpluggedToaster said...

Kalyn, your visitor is right...sort of. I just clicked on that same link and it took me to the same place that your visitor said it would, to http://kalynskitchen.blogspot.com/2006/01/sausage-beans-and-greensarf5-day.html.

In further investigation, it seems that you actually have TWO links connected to that one post. Allow me to explain. The link that you shows is: White Bean Salad with Tuna and Parsley (all phases).

The front end of that link (White Bean Salad with Tuna and Parsley) is correctly hyperlinked to: http://kalynskitchen.blogspot.com/2007/04/white-bean-salad-with-tuna-and-parsley.html, HOWEVER the back end of that same link -the small portion of text that says (all phases) is actually linked to:
http://kalynskitchen.blogspot.com/2006/01/sausage-beans-and-greensarf5-day.html

So it looks like the visitor clicked on the section of the link that took them to http://kalynskitchen.blogspot.com/2006/01/sausage-beans-and-greensarf5-day.html, while when you checked and clicked it, it took you to the correct link at http://kalynskitchen.blogspot.com/2007/04/white-bean-salad-with-tuna-and-parsley.html.

You may want to correct that link, and maybe even drop an email of apology to that poster. Just a thought. :)

Unplugged Toaster, great detective work. I don't have any idea how that happened, but it's fixed now. Unfortunately since it's an anonymous comment I can't let the person know, but thanks to you for letting me know.

UnpluggedToaster said...

HI Kalyn,

Glad you got that fixed. I just noticed the same thing is happening to a few of your other links on this page too. Seems that most of the recipes that have the links with "(all phases)" are all getting that portion of text linked incorrectly.

Just thought you might like to know.

Take care! :)

Unplugged Toaster, thanks again! Obviously this is something I did when I typed the recipes in, but I'm completely baffled about what it was. I think they're all fixed now though (hope so!)

Hi Kayln,

I am so excited to find your blog! I am foodie going back on SB Diet Phase 1 and I was looking for Black Bean Cake recipes that would be compatable for phase one. I've seen some others online that call for potatoe flakes or breadcrumbs. I guess for binding purposes. Do you have any recommendations for substitutions or should I just hold out trying to make these for Phase 2?

Kalyn said...

Susan, you might try quinoa flakes as a binder. That should work for phase one. You can get them at Whole Foods.
