Last Chance to Predict the Favorites and Win Two Cookbooks!

The week of celebrating the Two Year Anniversary of Weekend Herb Blogging starts tomorrow! When I get up in the morning I'll be posting a set of polls where people can vote for their favorite vegetable and favorite herb of 2007. This is your final reminder that we kicked off things early with a contest to predict the favorite vegetable and favorite herb, and when voting starts, I'll be shutting off comments on that post. (You can't let people keep predicting the winner after voting has started can you?) So for a chance to win two of my very favorite cookbooks, click this link and leave a comment predicting what you think the favorites will be. Don't forget to come back tomorrow to vote in the poll. The contest and voting are open to all readers, so please participate even if you're not a blogger!

Besides voting, the second part of the two year anniversary celebrations will be a special week of herb blogging, where we're asking for a recipe with at least one herb and one vegetable. There's complete information about Doubly Delicious Herb Blogging for October 8 to October 15 at that same post. (Two year celebration herb blogging entries should not be posted before Monday October 8. Entries for the current week (before 3:00 P.M. today) should be sent to Haalo at Cook (almost) Anything At Least Once. Haalo is in Italy, where she's posted some stunning photos of her own very Italian entry this week. Send entries for Haalo to hellohaalo (at) gmail (dot) com. You can always get more information in the right sidebar about the Rules for Weekend Herb Blogging or Who's Hosting Weekend Herb Blogging.

I'm so happy you're taking the time to comment on Kalyn's Kitchen! I love hearing from people who stop by, especially if you're sharing feedback or asking questions about a recipe I've posted here.

I've recently changed my comment settings so people can comment without signing in, but you will need to check the box to show you're a live person, and comments on older posts won't show up until I publish them. Thanks for understanding!

And if you really like the recipe, Pins, Shares, Tweets, and Yums are always appreciated!
