If you're been paying attention to food blogs the last few years, you've probably noticed more and more food bloggers are writing cookbooks. I've long ago realized that I can't possibly buy every food blogger's cookbook or write about it on my blog, but recently I had the thought that maybe I could support my fellow food bloggers by maintaining a list of their books. This post will get added to the cookbooks section in the left sidebar of the blog (below An Ever-Growing List of Some of the Cookbooks Kalyn is Using) and I'll do my best to keep up with adding new books as I hear about them.Probably the best way to tell whether you'd like a particular blogger's cookbook is to visit the blog and see how you like the writer's style and the type of recipes they focus on. Even if you don't buy a cookbook, you just may end up discovering a few new blogs to follow!
(Full disclosure: If you follow the Amazon link and buy one of the books, not only does it help that blogger, but Kalyn's Kitchen does earn a few cents on the dollar for each purchase. Thanks!)

Who have I missed? I'm sure I couldn't put together a list like this without missing a few food blogger's cookbooks! If you know of a hardbound or paperback cookbook written by a food blogger that I missed please feel free to remind me in the comments! (I'm going to limit this list to commercially published books, but people with self-published books or e-books are welcome to leave those links in the comments.)

Great list, and what a wonderful service to the food blogging community. I have many of these books in my library, but have discovered a few new-to-me books, too.
Just stumbled across your website looking for a new spice mix for some roasted chickpeas ... I happened to have all of the ingredients for that Moroccan spice mix on hand from a Moroccan meal I prepared a few weeks back! They are roasting and smell AMAZING ... but I also wanted to let you know that 'Artisan Bread in 5min a Day' has converted me and my extended family into bakers ... and I was SCARED of yeast when I started. it is an amazing book and there is a new book coming out shortly: 'Healthy Bread in 5min a Day'!! I've pre-ordered it on Amazon ... looks great! Good luck!
What a great idea Kalyn!
Grat list--thanks! I will swallow a blush and mention my own book, Sweet Freedom: Desserts You'll Love without Wheat, Eggs, Dairy or Refined Sugar, available through amazon, a variety of stores in the Toronto area, and my blog. :)
Hi Kalyn,
We featured your cookbook list on our Big Guide to Foodie Gift Guides. Come check it out! If you like it, share it with your social network (Foodbuzz, Facebook, Twitter, etc).

How about The Spunky Coconut Cookbook by Kelly Brozyna from the spunkycoconut.com - a great gluten-free, casein-free, sugar-free book.
I just picked up the new artisan bread book, and can't wait to start experimenting with some of the healthy, whole-grain recipes.
Hi Kalyn,
Great list...I did not know about some of these! One you missed (it's brand new) is Vegan Yum Yum by Lauren Ulm...
Hope to see a book of yours on this list some day!
This is such a great idea, and I'll have to check out so many new books now! Thanks for including my blog and book. :)
My cookbook, Dig In is available in paperback from my website, as well as ebook. :)
These are all fantastic books and I do have some in my collection.Just one more Kalyn, the BloggerAid Cookbook which is written by over 140 differnt food bloggers to raise money for the School Meals Programme.
Great list Kalyn! Luckily, I have most of these:)
This is so wonderful - thank you for the list!! :)
That's a great list Kalyn!..I am hoping to make to that list one day..:)
Sweet! To add: Mary Ostyn isn't primarily a food blogger, but her "Family Feasts for $75 a Week" is excellent for families who appreciate healthy, whole, inexpensive foods. There are some unexpected Korean and Ethiopian twists in there, too.
Great list! It's fun to see all of the bloggers who've made their own cookbooks.
I wanted to do a post on food bloggers' cookbooks too! You beat me to it! Course the more shouts we give them, the better, right?
I have a suggestion for a future cookbook by a food blogger: "Cooking in Kalyn's Kitchen."
Seriously, this would be on my Christmas List for 2010!
Thanks everyone! I'm glad people are enjoying the list.
I appreciate the people who have left comments here or e-mailed me saying they'd love to see a cookbook from me. That's not something I have any plans for right now, but I am open to the idea if I had the right offer. I appreciate the nice feedback!
These look great. I've been contemplating clearing out my shelf to make room for more. There are cookbooks in my cupboards that I no longer use, and I need to get some new ones!
whoa, that's a crazy list! I have a few of them, but didn't realize there were so many out there now.
Thanks for this wonderful list!
thanks for the link and mention!
Thanks for the mention of my cookbook!!
Mary Ostyn
