  1. These meals look all so tempting! :-)

I made a big batch of chili following your Black Bean and Beef recipe, except for using soya granules instead of the meat. Everybody was surprised when I told them there was no meat in the chili. I used black beans that I had soaked overnight and cooked before.

Thank you for enriching my lfie with your recipes and tips. Best wishes for the holidays and the New Year,

  2. Thanks Merisi. I love hearing how people adapt the recipes to their own taste and eating habits! Happy holidays to you too.

  3. Slow cooker frittatas are top of my list to try in 2014. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. Thanks Lydia; I know you'll love it in the Ninja.

  5. I made the Southwestern Beef Stew and it was so good. The first half, we ate over some leftover rice and topped it with a dollop of sour cream. A few days later, we ate just the stew (with sour cream dollop, of course!) and it was wonderful.

May you have a joyful New Year.

  6. Arianamarie, so glad you enjoyed it; I loved that recipe too.

  7. I have got to try making a fritatta in the slow cooker. They look so good!!

  8. Deb, I was skeptical at first, but I'm hooked on it now! So far I have tried three different egg dishes in the slow cooker and all were good.

  9. I love slow cooker recipes! Thanks for all the wonderful ideas! Happy New Year!

  10. Thanks Chrissy. Always fun to hear from a fellow slow cooker fan!
