|If you're growing herbs, you'll love herb scissors!|
I love learning things from my readers, and a few months ago a reader recommended herb scissors in a discussion on Facebook. I'm such a fresh-herb lover that I went immediately to Amazon.com and bought the herb scissors you see in these photos, and I am absolutely loving them! If you're growing fresh herbs, or if you buy them regularly, I promise you will love these scissors.
So far I've used my herb scissors for mint, basil, and parsley, but I'm sure they'll also be perfect for cutting strips of sage. I snip the herbs from the stem and into my Mini Salad and Herb Spinner. Then I wash the snipped herbs and spin them dry. (This doesn't work as well for really small herb pieces; for that I would wash the herbs and spin dry and then snip them.) My nephew Jake cooks with me often and he's famous for his knife skills, but even he was impressed with how fast you could make strips of basil with the herb scissors.
I found a variety of Herb Scissors at Amazon.com, but I picked these RSVP Herb Scissors, partly because they had a cover to use for storing the scissors. I happily paid $9.99 for them, but when I got the link for this post they were on sale for $6.84, so if you order right away you might get them on sale!
Since I bought them I've used the scissors to snip fresh basil for dishes like Basil Vinaigrette, Chicken Salad with Basil and Parmesan, and Monster Zucchini and Basil Strata. I've also snipped mint for Cucumber, Avocado, and Garbanzo Salad with Feta, Lemon, and Mint. I have no doubt that the herb scissors are something I'm going to be using for years.

About Kalyn's Kitchen Picks:
I purchased the RSVP Endurance Herb Scissors myself and this company has no idea that I'm writing about their product. All items featured as Kalyn's Kitchen Picks are things I will happily buy over and over, and because I want readers to know that my opinions are completely unbiased, I don't accept review products from the many companies who offer to send them to me.
